Surah For Success In Exams: Quranic Prayers For Academic Achievement

People have told me that they meditate, do yoga, and do many other things to stay calm and loose. All of those are great, but who has time to meditate for 30 minutes? I sometimes have trouble saying my five daily prayers, which helps me feel half as stressed. I put together a list of duas, verses from the Quran, and hadiths that help students do well on tests to help other students like me. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “The good of this world and the world to come is with knowledge.”

Surah Taha

One well-known verse to read before exams is the one below. It comes from surah Taha. It is the Dua that the prophet Muhammad made.

“O Lord, put my heart at peace and ease my task, untie the knot from my tongue so that they may understand what I speak” [Taha, verses 25-28]

Another verse to read from surah Taha for success is:

“My Lord, Increase me in knowledge.” [Taha, verse 114]

Also read the following verse to ask Allah to help you succeed in exams:

“My Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever good You would send down to me”

Surah Yaseen

Our Prophet Muhammad said:

“Without a doubt, everything shows at least a bit of kindness. And the core of the Quran is Yaseen Surah. I might want that it be in the core of each adherent of my ummah.”

This story shows how important it is to read Surah Yaseen. Some of them are what the Quran is all about. Our teacher tells us to read it.

Anyone who reads Surah Yaseen feels better and calms down. Reading surah Yaseen will help you in many ways.

So, this story tells us why this surah is important. And that it’s what the Quran is all about. There are many good things about just reading it.

Narrators say that our prophet said that reading surah Yaseen makes our dreams come true. Right here is the hadith:

“Whoever pursues Surah Yaseen toward the start of the day, every one of his daily requirements would be satisfied.”

The Quran is where we should look for help from Allah. Get God to help us and make our dreams come true. There’s no shame in being weak in front of God.

Allah is the only one who can help us reach our goals and make our dreams come true. You should trust that.

Even if you believe that what you want is not possible. God will always be with you and give you what you ask for.

That’s why Surah Yaseen is a great one to read to do well on a test. This is also where you can find out about the best Surahs for marriage.

Surah Al Fatiha For Success In Exams

We ask Allah to guide us as we read this surah, to support us, and to lead us in the right direction.

When we read Surah Al-Fatha, we call Allah by his names, Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem. This helps us remember how kind Allah is.

Those two names came right before the line that said, “Lead us in the right direction.” They showed us that calling out Allah’s name is the best way to ask him for something.

Surah al-Fatiha is like a link between the person reading it and Allah. When you read the verse:

“You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help.”

Allah will answer and say “this is between me and my servant. And for my servant what he asks for”.

So, read this text and ask Allah to help you do well on your tests. Do well in school. This is why Surah Fatiha is one of the best ones to read before tests.

Dua For Success In Exam

There are many Duas that you can recite before, during, and after the exam to ask Allah for his help. Here are some of those amazing Duas from the Quran and Sunnah:

1. Surah Taha is one of the best ones to read before a test. And this is the line you need to say.

“O Sustainer of my Life! Open my heart and make my work easier for me, and untie the knot in my tongue so people can completely comprehend what I’m saying.” [Surah Taha]

2. Read this prayer to Allah to ask for help before you start studying:

“Oh Allah, honor me with the light of understanding and save me from the darkness of doubt, and open the doors of your knowledge and the richness of your recognition to us, oh Merciful of Merciful ones. Please, Allah, provide me Tawfeeq to study and answer all of the difficult problems with books. By your charity, oh noblest of sympathetic ones.”

3. If you get tired of learning and don’t want to forget anything, read this Dua:

“Allah! I trusted you with all I’ve read and learned. Thank you, Allah! Return it to me after you’re done using it. Thank you, Allah! You may do as you choose; you are my helper, defender, and closest ally.”

4. Say these words out loud if you can’t concentrate on the test or your studying:

“Allah’s blessings be upon Muhammad and his descendants. I beseech you, O Allah, who mentions kindness, actualizes it, and demands it, to remind me of what the shaytan has made me forget.”

5. Read this Dua before the test or before you start studying:

“Allah! Nothing is simple except what you have simplified. You can make the tough simple if you want.”

6. Say the following Dua to calm down and stop worrying during exams:

“Allah!” I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, debt and oppression by men.”

7. This is the last dua you should read to ask Allah to help you:

“My Lord, Increase me in knowledge.”

Conclusion

In simple words, reading certain Surahs from the Quran, like Surah Al-Fatiha or Surah Al-Inshirah, can bring comfort, focus, and a sense of calm before exams.
