At Giving Hands Canada, we are deeply grateful for every donation. We are committed to ensuring transparency and clarity in our financial operations. This policy outlines the circumstances under which we can process a refund for a donation.

Refund Eligibility

We understand that circumstances can change. Donations can be fully refunded if the cancellation and refund request is made within 24 hours of the transaction time.

Requests made after this 24-hour window will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but we cannot guarantee a refund as the funds may have already been allocated to our charitable programs.

How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your donation and request a refund, you must contact our support team by sending an email to: info@givinghands.ca.

In your email, please include the following details to help us process your request quickly:

  • Your full name
  • The date of the donation
  • The donation amount
  • The reason for the cancellation request

Refund Processing Timeline

Once we receive your request, our team will review it. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed. We may need to contact you for additional information to facilitate the refund.

A confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as the refund process is complete. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account will depend on your bank or card issuer.
